Project Details

Our recent project involved designing bespoke furniture for the common areas of a prestigious block of flats in London. The client aimed to enhance these shared spaces with custom-made furniture that not only provided comfort and functionality but also complemented the contemporary aesthetic of the building. The project centered around creating pieces that fostered a sense of community while fitting seamlessly into the varied layouts of the common areas.

Project Challenges

The primary challenge in this project was the construction of furniture without visible screws, which required innovative joinery techniques to maintain a sleek and modern look.

Additionally, each piece had to be custom-fitted to the unique dimensions and shapes of the different common areas, including lobbies, lounges, and recreational spaces. This demanded a high level of precision and adaptability in design and execution.

Project Result

The end result was a collection of bespoke furniture pieces that beautifully transformed the common areas of the block of flats. From stylish seating options to functional communal tables, each item was crafted with hidden fixtures, offering a polished and sophisticated appearance.

The furniture not only met the spatial and aesthetic requirements of the client but also contributed to creating inviting and comfortable shared spaces for the residents. This project highlighted Hard4Wood Limited’s expertise in delivering tailor-made solutions that combine elegance with practicality.r.
